Kickstart Award - Review Criteria
Each Participant must meet the SCF Participant & Submission Eligibility Criteria, as well as each program’s Submission Review Criteria.
Submission Review Criteria - SCF Kickstart Award
While you don’t necessarily need to have a full-fledged company (yet) to participate in SCF Kickstart, we do require teams to have at least two (2) people actively participating in a given SCF Kickstart Cohort, of which at least one (1) is a software engineer. Only projects that have gone through SCF Kickstart will be eligible for a SCF Kickstart Award.
Each SCF Kickstart Award will be open to teams tha thave completed a given SCF Kickstart Cohort and are interested in Building on Stellar.
Submission Guidelines:
The submission and first deliverable need to be of high quality, clear in language, and rich in (technical) details;
Participants need to demonstrate that their Project is unique and competitive, and show how it provides clear value to the Stellar ecosystem;
The Participant needs to clearly explain how Stellar is and will be integrated into the Project, as both a use case and technical integration (process maps are useful here), along with a:
well researched or tested concept;
minimum viable product (MVP); or
high-level architecture model.
The Participant needs to clearly demonstrate knowledge of and experience with Stellar and other relevant languages and technologies proposed in the project;
The Participant needs to demonstrate that they are ready to start building immediately after receiving an Award (e.g. needs to be able to dedicate developers experienced in the relevant languages to the project);
The Project needs to demonstrate it is using or will use Stellar to significantly improve its core features;
The roadmap needs to be clear with sufficient detail and planning on how to further develop the Stellar integration, with a clear go-to-market strategy.
