The SCF Kickstart Cohort is a focused 5-day virtual bootcamp to support teams submitting for the SCF Build Award to further validate their idea on Stellar. Teams interested to participate can receive expert guidance from mentors from SDF and the broader Stellar ecosystem to turn their idea into an actionable Proof of Concept, increasing their chances for success for the SCF Build Award.
1️⃣ | Project Idea Submission
All projects interested in SCF Kickstart need to start by submitting their project idea. This Project form will allow the SCF team to assess the best SCF program for your project. Please note that successfully passing the eligibility review of the project submission does not guarantee acceptance into any of the subsequent SCF programs.
2️⃣ | Review and Selection
If your project idea passes eligibility review and you’re invited to submit for Build, you will first be given the opportunity to participate in SCF Kickstart to get hands-on mentorship and connection to the ecosystem and foundation before submitting your SCF Build submission.
3️⃣ | Participant Preparation
Selected participants will be notified immediately following the selection and review phase. They will receive bootcamp information, preparation guidelines, and calendar invites for the virtual bootcamp and other relevant activities. In order to comply with US regulations, SDF asks that SCF Kickstart participants complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) check. The KYC information that will be collected can be found on. Note: If applying as a team of individuals, each individual on the team should complete the form. Please refer to the for more information on how SDF uses and retains data. If an SCF Kickstart Participant does not pass the required eligibility and compliance checks by the specified deadlines, they are no longer eligible to participate in the SCF Kickstart and may be disqualified from consideration in future Stellar Community Fund programs.
